PoCoCo Offers Free Consumer-Oriented Discussion Panel
BRADFORD, Pa. – The Rochester, NY, branch of Pinnacle Oath Consumer Oriented Company (PoCoCo) will be holding a consumer oriented discussion panel for undergraduate students that wish to further their expertise on better business practices.
Dr. Kaizhi Jason Chen, CEO of the Rochester, NY, branch of PoCoCo, will be personally conducting the free consumer-oriented discussion panel at the Mukaiyama University Room in the Frame-Westerberg Commons of the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford on April 5 from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Chen said individuals interested in participating in the panel discussion will be educated on basic consumer-producer relationship issues that the majority often face such as trust building, trust renewal, commitment analysis, loyalty measuring, myopia staggering, positive relationship perspective theory, and how to have a consumer-oriented mindset.
PoCoCo is a private, nonprofit organization that provides services and programs to assist in building consumer-oriented business practices.
“Here at PoCoCo, we believe in creating positive consumer-producer relations,” Chen said. “We hope that by extending this knowledge and business philosophy to the undergraduate students, we can create a supportive and successful environment within their future establishments.”
Chen said that the discussion panel is not limited to only students focusing their study in business, marketing, and entrepreneurship. Students of any academic background can benefit from the discussion.
“The key idea revolves around fostering a positive consumer-producer relationship,” Chen said. “Just as in any strong relationship, commitment and effort in fostering that relationship is needed from both sides.”
Chen said that engaging potential consumers in the discussion would not only give broader and clearer insight to potential producers, but it would also encourage potential consumers to moderate the actions of potential producers in the future.
“The two way channel is essential in keeping businesses on the proper track,” Chen said. “Consumers should always be able to and should never be afraid to criticize a business.”
Chen said PoCoCo is attempting to make this process easier and more efficient by creating ways for the general public to send feedback on certain businesses.
“This process also helps us at PoCoCo do our job,” Chen said. “By allowing the general public to send feedback, the consumers will assist us in keeping watchful eyes on businesses that do not follow through with what they claim to.”
Chen said this process is also integral to the honesty of businesses that hold a certificate of PoCoCo accreditation.
PoCoCo members have access to consumer-oriented training programs and better business databases, and members also have the ability to display the PoCoCo certificate, indicating they have successfully completed required consumer-oriented training.
“The PoCoCo Certificate of Completion is more than just a sign,” Chen said. “It is a symbol that sends a message that your company is a trustworthy and respectable business.”
Chen said that consumers would not have to think twice about trusting a business that has the ability to display the certificate. He also said the certificate improves consumer loyalty due to the credentials that the certificate holds.
“PoCoCo accreditation is a coveted honor earned by those who support the charge in seeking to refine and actualize core consumer-oriented company values,” Chen said. “Upon successful completion of becoming accredited, the chief executive of any corporation will have utmost confidence in creating this positive type of environment, viewpoint, and aspiration in their own business.”
Chen said that the ability to hold and display a certificate will be taken away once a business violates the terms of agreement in becoming capable of holding and displaying a certificate. A probationary period will ensue where the business will be monitored tightly for improving or disapproving habits.
“We at PoCoCo understand that we cannot keep a watchful eye on businesses at all times and that is why we encourage consumer feedback,” Chen said. “It also helps us better ourselves.”
Chen said that even though PoCoCo is an organization that wishes to refine business practices of other businesses, there is always room for improvement in itself as well.
“I truly do hope that this discussion will lead producers of our future towards our goals and encourage them to support our charge,” Chen said.
This program is free and open to the public. Any questions or concerns can be resolved by contacting PoCoCo Rochester NY at 555-555-5555 or [email protected].
